Established in 1997 and based in Livingston, West Lothian, MK Site Services Ltd is a specialist machine installation and machinery movement company working across the UK and internationally.

Based in Livingston, West Lothian, just minutes from the M8, MK Site Services is ideally located for projects across Edinburgh, Glasgow, central Scotland and throughout the UK.

We move, install, lift, transport and store production machinery and heavy industrial plant — single machines, complete production lines and full facility relocations — for clients across manufacturing, food and drink, energy, pharmaceutical and construction sectors.

Our contract lifting division complements the machine movement side of the business, covering lifting operations from conception through to completion, with all supervision and management undertaken within the framework of BS 7121 and LOLER.

Our team brings more than 75 years of combined experience in crane management, lifting operations and machinery movement.

Staff are trained and certificated to manage and supervise lifting operations within the scope of LOLER and all parts of BS 7121. Combined with versatile movement equipment and the ability to mobilise at short notice, this allows us to support a wide range of industry sectors.

Safety

Safety is planned into every project rather than added to it. Method statements, lift plans and risk assessments are produced for the specific machine, site and sequence before work begins.

Our management team maintains an ongoing safety policy supported by in-house and external training at all levels, relevant to current legislation and good working practice.

We welcome clients carrying out their own safety audits of our procedures.
